In Earth's Norse mythology a Valkyrie was a symbol of fairness and honor; a bright shining example in the cold and dark of the north. She was a supernatural being that flew over land and sea searching and protecting those she cared for. A Valkyrie was charged with finding those warriors worthy to enter the halls of Valhalla.
Are you worthy?
Come, test your metal aboard the USS Valkyrie.
There year is 2401
A new century has dawned. So much has happened in the last 25 years. The Dominion War ended, The USS Voyager returned from the Delta Quadrant, and the Romulan Empire opened up to the Federation. With the rebuilding of the fleet, the new technology brought back by Voyager, and the stabilization of the region a new age has dawned for the Federation.
The Borg are a fading threat, Romulan relations are still improving, the Cardassians are still causing trouble and full of bluster, and the Klingons are, well..., still Klingons. With Federation's return to its core mission of exploration, they are once again answering the call of the unknown. As Picard once said, “...the unknown is what brings us out here”.
One of the newest ships brought into service is the USS Valkyrie, a Vesta class starship equipped with state of the art technologies, including a Quantum Slipstream Drive (QSD). With a QSD at their disposal the unknown has opened up like never before.

About the Valkyrie...
- We operate in a Nemesis timeline. Meaning we do not follow the events set in motion by the Abrams Star Trek. In other words - Romulus is still intact. This means we operate with most of the technology from Picard but get to write our own path, unbound by the limits set forth in the Abrams movies (Kelvin timeline), DSC, PIC, PRO, LD, or SNW.
- We are an 18+, Nova platform simulation with a RPG rating of:

Mission: Monsters are real
Posted on Sat Jul 4th, 2026 @ 2:57am by Lieutenant JG Christian Rogers
Rogers dropped his rifle and tactical vest on the bed then proceeded to strip off his shirt and undershirt. He'd just returned from the abysmal mission on the planet and his mind was filled with numerous concerns. When Baas had come to them and put him in charge of security, he stated it was because of his combat experience and how that was what the ship needed at this time.
Yet...
His experience and expertise were resoundingly ignored and not even considered during the incident. Baas kept his own counsel and his own considerations. Now two more crew members were…

Mission: Monsters are real
Posted on Tue Jun 30th, 2026 @ 5:43am by Lieutenant JG Ryan Kellerman & Lieutenant JG Rosaline Belikov
The Intelligence Centre on Deck 9 was a round-the-clock department. Much like Engineering or Operations, it never slept or shut down.
Ryan Kellerman stood just inside his partitioned office in the main Intel Operations Room with a PADD in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, watching his department as it made wholesale changes. The Valkyrie's Intelligence staffing levels were significantly higher than his previous assignment aboard the USS Resistance where both Security and Intel had been integrated.
But transfers always felt like this. It was like a tide going out and coming back in, except the…

Mission: Monsters are real
Posted on Mon Jun 29th, 2026 @ 5:26pm by Captain Daegan Baas & Petty Officer 2nd Class Sizia Sh'velihr [Baas] & Lieutenant JG Rosaline Belikov
Standing in the turbolift en route to the bridge, Rose was on her way to report in to the ships Captain after getting squared away in her quarters and leaving Ziva in child care. After what happened on her last assignment, a ship on the fringes of federation space sounded like a great place to settle and reset for a bit. Feeling the lift begin to slow, Rose took in a breath and held it for a moment before slowly releasing it. As the doors slid open, she stepped out and headed straight for the ready room.

...Dropping the conduit it's rattling echoed in the bay as she collapsed in tears, her face in her hands. A few moments later the sounds of flesh moving caused her to drop her hands slowly from her wide, tears stained, eyes. The lighting failed and her scream was cut short; transformed into gurgling spasms as she was stabbed thought the throat by a boney protrusion.
Power eventually failed aboard the Nhialic and it began to drift with the rest of the wreckage. It's systems failed one by one, lights flickered, it's heat bled of…

Mission: What was Lost is Found
Posted on Wed Jun 17th, 2026 @ 7:00pm by Captain Daegan Baas
The door closed to his quarter and he pulled open his uniform as he looked around, dropping his tactical vest over the arm of the sofa. So much had happened in a short amount of time; not only on the Valkyrie but in the Federation. In the weeks that followed destruction of Sol Station every member of the crew had tried to contact someone. Everyone had lost someone they had gone to the academy with, served with, been mentored by, or was related to. And he was no different as his daughter was serving on the USS Ganymede; right in…
